WHat is Art moVEmEnt?

Art movement is described as a tendency or style in art of art that spans over a period of time that is subtly or distinctly different than another movement of art. Following by a group of artist during a limited period of time (usually a few months, years or decades) to build an art movement. Some art movement that have been influenced by another art movement show obvious similarities. It is interesting to study the differences between art movement and different period of art. Some of the common art such as modernism, conceptual art, pop art, optical art, impressionism and expressionism.

In art, the most I like of the art movement is surrealism, futurism and public art.

Surrealism
It is a cultural movement and began in the early 1920s. Surrealism works feature the element of surprise and unexpected object or position.Surrealism developed out of the Dada activities during World war 1 and the most important center of the movement was Paris From 1920, this art movement spread around the world, affecting the visual arts, literature, music and film of many countries and language.





Futurism
Futurism was an artistic and social movement that originated from Italy in the early 20th century. It emphasized themes associated with contemporary concept of future, including speed, technology, and objects such as airplane, spacecraft, car and industrial city.




Public art
Public art refers to work of art in any media that have been planned and executed with the specific intention of being sited or placed in the physical public domain, usually outside and accessible to all. The term is also applied to include any art which is exhibited in a public space including buildings.
